(This tournament is open to any student in South Florida and is one of the qualifying tournaments for Palm Beach County School District purposes.)

5 Rounds, SS, Game 30 (30 Minutes per Player)

Arthur I. Meyer Jewish Academy, 3261 N. Military Trail
Between Okeechobee Blvd. and 45^th Street, West Palm Beach

Check-in Starts at 8:30 am and will close at 9:15, First round begins 9:45,
Later rounds will start ASAP.

Sections K-3, K-5, K-8 and K-12

Sections may be combined for pairing purposes at the discretion of the tournament director.

Individual & Team Trophies Awarded

In order to compete as a team, school teams must be represented by 3 or more players. Team score will include scores of the top 4 players from each school. Team trophies will be awarded to top four schools overall.

USCF membership is required. If you have not played in a chess tournament before, please be aware that this is not single elimination; you participate in all the rounds. Please bring a chess set and a chess clock if you have one. No telephone entries please. For More Information Call 561-471-1805

Entry fee is $10 if received by February 19^th - $15 after that date

On-site entries may receive ½ point bye for round 1 if time is limited. USCF membership is $19 for one year for players under 15, and $25 for one year for players over 14. If joining the USCF please include the membership fee in your check. NOTE: If the USCF does not show you as a current member and you have already joined or renewed, you must bring a current membership card or receipt for proof of your payment for membership or membership renewal, otherwise you will have to make another membership payment. Students on free or reduced lunch should contact tournament organizers for fee reduction.

We ask that you bring no outside food into the school. There will be drinks and snacks available on site.
